Three nights in Kuqa: heritage, canyon & poplars
Use Kuqa as a base for three nights. Give separate days to the canyon and city heritage, then Shaya’s poplar forests and Route 139.

Days 6–10
Kashgar at your pace, then the Pamir lakes
After flying to Kashgar, leave a full day for independent city exploration, then travel by MPV to Baisha Lake, Karakul Lake and Tashkurgan. No vehicle is included on Day 7.

What should you know before you go?
The evening of Day 2 and all of Day 7 are free, with no vehicle included. Arrange your own transport between city sights on Day 7. If the road is closed on Day 9, Stone City and Golden Grassland replace Panlong Road and Bandir Lake.
